Garo's response is absolutely correct. MPEX works perfectly in this regard.
However, you should be aware of two things:

1) You must have SM in order to do it, and
2) It doesn't really alter your original job. It actually aborts the
   original one and streams a copy with the new scheduling paramaters.

This may be important if you have any process that looks for the original
job number.
