Using Epson printer with npconfig

I've an Epson DFX-5000 dot matrix printer connected with the JetDirect to
the LAN and I try to use it with NM Spooler.
I configured my SYSGEN and added a new entry in NPCONFIG. I use an empty
setup file but when I print the printer produce only garbage.
Someone can tell me where's the problem.
