While it's not directly related to the 3000, said 3000 sites generally have
other machines as well.  The following concerns Solaris and Linux.

The FBI has links to patches for Linux on Intel, and for Solaris on Intel
and SPARC, to combat the Distributed Denial of Service (DDOS) attacks widely
reported over the past week or two.
