As a follow-up to my previous post, I ran across the following today:
"Compaq was also the only computer company to record an increase in sales
outside of the dominant UNIX mid-range server segment. According to IDC,
Compaq's OpenVMS sales were up by 62 percent in the sector."
and for those of you who missed my earlier post regarding S/390:
