Subject: [HP3000-L] PKZIP or its equivalent on the HP3000

We are looking for a method to compress files, prior to FTPing.

Is there a utility on or for the HP3000 that can generate a PKZIP format file
that can be read by PKZIP on a Unix box?

Is there such a utility that can run under POSIX for this purpose?

Does LZW have this capability? We have the following versions courtesy of
third-party vendors:

     LZW: (C) 1991, 1997 - Telamon, Inc. - Version A.03.33 [A.02.04] (Apr 4
1997)
     LZW: (C) 1991, 1996 - Telamon, Inc. - Version A.03.25 [A.02.04] (Aug 15
1996)

but I do not see any mention of PKZIP in the command documentation.

Thanks.
