I admitted in my post that "I lost the good fight to keep our accounting
system on the HP3000".  I was not seeking to blame the software vendors for
that particular fiasco.  That was mostly my fault (for not getting involved
sooner in the acquistion cycle), so now I am trying to get involved from the
beginning and am hitting some walls.
