He he he!  I think you are just a little bit mistaken with the m's here.
Most accounting type people (like my boss) routinely abbreviate thousands as
"m" and millions as "mm".  So this salary is really rather low (given the
scope of the position and the location's cost of living).  It took me a
while to get used to switching from "k" to "m" whenever I had to translate
from "computer" to "accounting".
