I know this is old, but I'm catching up on backlog :-)

By RFC interpretation (RFC822 I think), a 'reply' should go to:

* the Reply-To: address if present, else
* the From: address if present, else
* the Sender: address if present.

There are some precursors of Resent- tags but they are essentially
obsolete these days.
