A week or so ago I posted a message stating that MPE 6.0 has some fairly severe
NS problems that have been causing us repeated crashes (nearly one per day since
01/04). After much research at several levels, HP finally identified what they
think is the root cause of the problem, and have provided us a patch. The patch
just went in this evening, and so the jury is still very much out on this one.
However, I have high hopes that our problems are in the past.

For your reference, the system abort is 1457 in subsys 102. The patch that HP
supplied to us is NSTFMD2, and is (obviously) still considered "beta".

If anyone is interested in more detail, please feel free to contact me.

Cheers!

Randall Davis
