While Stan formulates his thoughts on version numbering I'll ask this
question:

Six months from now how will one know which version of Express 1 has been
installed on their system?

BTW, it is good advice to always have the latest version of Patch/iX
regardless of this problem. But the Web version of Patch/iX download has
proved problematic for many users. Mike Dovano (sp?) said he would look into
putting it on the FTP site. Has any progress been made in that area?
