New Years Day in Vancouver saw a break in the weather that made for a
wonderful walking day. I decided to take a few pictures and publish
them to show that things really are working okay once we passed
December 31, 1999.

To see a view of the North Arm of the Fraser River, one of the major
rivers in British Columbia, take a look at:

In order to publish these pages, software packages, computers, and
networks had to work perfectly. While we still will have a few
glitches before we are through the Y2K transition, this walk shows
that many of the computing resources that we depend on are working
perfectly fine.

Cheers,

David Greer
