Dr. Anthony J. Steinhoff of the History Department has been awarded a
research stipend from the National Endowment for the Humanities. The
stipend will allow Dr. Steinhoff to travel to Strasbourg in order to
complete a portion of the research necessary for his manuscript "Religious
Culture, Urban Context: Protestants in Strasbourg, 1870-1914," a reworking
of many of the ideas and research first presented in his 1996
dissertation.

Congratulations to Dr. Steinhoff on receiving this prestigious award,
given in recognition of his important contributions to his field.
