My apologies to any who tried to view the "People's Debate" between Green Party
candidate David Cobb and Libertarian candidate Michael Badnarik "live" last
week. The server that was carrying the streaming video experienced technical
problems (I'm not sure whether it was just overloaded with viewing demand or
experienced a "denial of service" attack by hackers).

Anyway, the archived debate video is now available on-line at:

http://63.223.15.84/freemarketnews/09-30-04-peoplesdebate.wmv?MSWMExt=.asf

The first 33 minutes or so is the "pre-game show" ... you may want to skip that.

Introductory remarks by John Anderson (1980 independent Presidential candidate)
begin at about 33 minutes.

The candidates' opening statements begin at about 49 minutes, and a question and
answer period follows.

I hope some of you find this of interest and in very stark contrast to the
Bush/Kerry "joint press conference" that same evening. This one has real
questions and real answers (you may not like them all, but they are sincere :)
