> There's LOTS of good places to shop besides Wal-Mart...............

You mean like Sears, Kmart, Target? They don't sell plain VCRs either.
Same song different verse. Of course, all of these places only have one
model and it is 10 to 20 dollars more than Wal-Mart, which has two
models for lower and three models for the same price as the other's
"low" price. Personally I like having cheap and choice together.

You can probably find one inexpensively at any of the local pawnshops.
Or just buy one of the combo units. Nobody sells cheap VCRs anymore.
Ok, radio shack sells one but it is a low name brand and costs as much
as a combo. Here is a link to amazon.com
<http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=sr_nr_i_1/102-8940628-3744165?ie=UTF8&keywo
rds=vcr&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3Avcr%2Ci%3Aelectronics> . They have some used
VCRs, but only one cheaper than a combo unit... And then you pay
shipping.
