ONLINE CATALOG OFFERS NEW SEARCH LIMITS VIA WEB INTERFACE
Now UTC students, faculty, and staff can limit library catalog searches by language,
by format, and/or by publication date. Search limits are optional, but may be set
when using any of the library catalog's web search forms.

Online help is available on each of the library catalog's search forms.
The UTC Library's online catalog helps users locate any of the over 1.6 million items
owned by the Library, including books, periodicals, microforms, films, and other
audiovisual materials.
UTC students, faculty, and staff are able to use a graphical, web interface and search
the UTC Library's catalog for:
-- any items owned by the UTC Library (by author, title, subject, or keyword)
-- journals (by title or by college or school )
-- class reserves (by an instructor's name or by a course number)
-- their library activity record (by their UTC i.d number)
-- their library address record (by their UTC i.d number)
-- their library fine record (by their UTC i.d number)
Remember that the web interface to the library's online catalog uses "cookies" to
maintain a recent search history at the bottom of each catalog page. This search
history is simply a series of links to your previous catalog search pages. To return
to a previous search page, just click your mouse on one of these links. Users should
enable cookies in their web browsers in order to take advantage of this feature.
