Congratulations to Dr. Joyce Smith, who has been selected to participate in
a six-week summer seminar funded by the National Endowment for the
Humanities.  Summer seminars provide an opportunity for faculty to study
with experts from humanities disciplines.  Dr. Smith will participate in a
seminar entitled "Reading Ethically, Reading Aesthetically:  American Texts
as Moral Examples" at Princeton University.

Please join us in congratulating Dr. Smith on being selected for the NEH
summer seminar!
