Dr. Deborah McAllister of the Teacher Preparation Academy has been
selected as a recipient of NASA’s NOVA (NASA Opportunities for Visionary
Academics) Fellowship Award.  She has been awarded $4,500 for the one-year
fellowship.

Dr. McAllister will join a team of NOVA faculty headed by Dennis Sunal of
University of Alabama, who personally invited Dr. McAllister to apply for
this
award.  The NOVA faculty responsibilities include implementing an evaluation
program to determine the national impact of NOVA on institutions, programs,
faculty and students.
