I understand that our students will be assessed an additional fee to
help support the Cadek Conservatory, the Children's Center, and the
Challenger Center.  As worthy as these programs are I do not think they
should be subsidized by our students.  Rather, the patrons should pay.
 
    I note that several of those writing to support retention of football
cite the impact that the loss of football would have on other sports and
activities.  It seems that football is holding these other programs hostage.
Again, let the program succeed or fail on its own merits.
