UTC has the privilege of hosting the 2006 Southern Conference Cross Country Championships this Saturday.
 
The women's 5k race will begin at 10 a.m., followed by the men's 8k race at 10:45.  Both races will take place at UTC's home course at Moccasin Bend.
 
UTC senior Lanni Marchant is favored to win the individual title in the women's race.
 
The women's and men's teams have each won four conference titles apiece.
 
The public is invited to see this Championship event, and admission is free.
