Please pass around the following announcement to any student you think
might be interested. Thanks.
 
The GEAR UP program is currently hiring tutors for its high school
tutoring program. Applicants must at least be juniors, seniors or
graduate students majoring in education, math or English. Students are
expected to be familiar with Algebra I and Geometry and have the basic
concepts of English literature and grammar. Hours are flexible according
to your class schedule. Positions are available at Howard High School
and school hours are 7:15-2:15. Tutors can work up to 20 hours a week
and make $8.00 an hour. If you are interested and meet the above
