No command line interface, such as telnet or ssh, is available
for users of OneNet services. The OneNet servers are dedicated
to providing particular services and are not general use systems.
This protects against a wide range of potential vulnerabilities
and performance issues for these important campus wide services.

Each OneNet service is available through multiple technologies,
such as the web browser and programs ("clients") that can be
installed to run on your PC (or MAC).

For example, Netmail email will be available on March 4 via the
OneNet web portal and, like now, through email clients such as
Eudora (and others) that can use POP or IMAP services.
