One of my 122 students recently submitted an annotated bibliography that worries me. Please contact me if any of you have read a paper that seeks to answer the question, "Are our minds capable of deliberately and consciously overcomning any 'matter' at will?"

This particular student could not write an in-class summary about his topic, even though every other 122 student in both of my 122 classes could about their own topics. For this reason, and also because the voice/tone of the person's paper seems inconsistent with his/her former papers, I think there might be a problem here.

Thank you for your quick reply.
