Featured Readers: Phil Stephens & Daniel Anderson, both poets who currently
teach at the University of the South in Sewanee, TN.

More about the poets:

Daniel Anderson's poetry has appeared in The New Republic, The Southern
Review, Poetry, The Best American Poetry, The Kenyon Review, New England
Review, The Hudson Review, Southwest Review and others, and has been featured
on National Public Radio's "The Writer's Almanac." His first collection of
poems, January Rain, was published by Story Line Press in 1997. He is
currently Visiting Assistant Professor of English at the University of the
South in Sewanee, Tennessee.

Philip Stephens is the author of a collection of poems, The Determined Days
(The Overlook Press, 2000), which was a finalist for the Pen Center USA West
Award and the winner of the Sewanee Writers' Series competition.  His
chapbook, The Signalmen, received the Hanks Chapbook Award from the St. Louis
Poetry Center in 1999.  He was educated at the University of Missouri at
Columbia, The Johns Hopkins University, and the University of California at
Irvine, and his writing has appeared in such publications as Agni, Southwest
Review, North American Review, and The Oxford American.  Currently, he is the
creative writing administrator at Sewanee, where he also teaches.
