The COUNSELING AND CAREER PLANNING CENTER now has SIGI Plus, a
comprehensive career exploration software system. SIGI Plus guides
the student through the career exploration process to help them make
decisions about preparation and entrance into specific career areas.
This program has one of the most extensive and up-to-date career
databases available. Students can print out the results of their
findings, including their occupational matches, information about any
occupation (e.g. demand, degree and licensure requirements, starting
and average salaries, etc.). Use of this software is free of charge
and confidential for UTC Students. Counselors provide a complete
orientation to using SIGI Plus. Once students are familiar with the
program, they may come to the Center any time and use it on their
own.

Staff may contact us to see the software or call for further
information. You may also refer students directly to the Center (Room
226 University Center) between the hours of 9-12 and 1-3, M-F. If
students can't make these hours special arrangements can be made.
