Dear UTC Community,
One year has passed since we assumed responsibility for managing the
Records/Registration Office. During this time, we developed a strategic
plan of action and worked it steadily with all staff members working as a
team. Major accomplishments include relocating and redesigning the office,
eliminating waste in money and labor, spear-heading the campaign to use the
UTC email address as the official means of communication, changing the
processes for petitions and diplomas, and working with the IT staff to
deliver grades online.
We thank the staff who have participated in these changes and new
efforts. And we thank you for the many good ideas you have provided.
We trust that you have experienced courteous and timely customer service
this year and improved communication. But we need to do a reality check.
