Community Leaders Offer Insights into the City
Mayor Bob Corker, Mayor Claude Ramsey, UTC Chancellor Bill Stacy, and
Schools Superintendent Jesse Register are among the community leaders who
will make presentations at Chattanooga Insight Sept. 16 and 17.
The Chamber developed Chattanooga Insight to provide businesspeople with
perspective on the city's history, its resurgence over the past decade and
its future.
"The program was designed as a quick course on the city, a mini-Leadership
Chattanooga program, if you will," says Ann Weeks, Insight chair and
general manager of Ivan Allen Workspace.
"It's especially useful to new executives of local companies and to
professionals who need to be informed about what's happening locally. Of
course, many life-long residents take Chattanooga Insight as a refresher
course."
Other speakers include Jack Murrah, Lyndhurst Foundation executive
director; Trevor Hamilton, Chamber director of global development and J.L.
Dotson, chief of Chattanooga Police.
The program will be held in the Chamber building at 811 Broad Street.
To discuss fees for Chamber members and non-members, please contact Lori
Slatton at lslatton@chattanoogachamber or 763-4351.
