Greetings Everyone!
The Exercise Science, Health & Leisure department is announcing a new class
offered this spring.
EHLS 199 012 Healthy Weight Loss Practices
MW 10-10:50 1hr credit.
The topics of this class are:
Obesity: Health risks and public health issues
Metabolism: Basic science of and influences on
Nutrition: Learning about healthy eating and designing a personal
well-balanced and nutritious diet for weight control
Exercise: Learning about how chronic exercise influences health and weight
control. Designing a personal exercise program.
Please consider this new course when advising students (this course will
count as a one-hour physical activity class) and as always any faculty/staff
that is interested we would love to have! If you have any questions or need
additional information please call the EHLS office at 4323.
