Dr. Bill Lee was recently awarded the Music Educators National Conference Servie Award. It reads... Special Research Interest Group in the History of Music Education Service Award. In Recognition of his scholarly contributions to the history of music in America and his service as an editorial board member of The Journal of Research in Music Education.

I just found out about this and am delighted for Bill. This is our top shelf journal and the very highest award a history researcher can get in our field. I am so very proud to have Bill as a colleague.
