The following list contains information on the key projects that facilities
will be involved in for the current week.  This list will be updated and
published as often as necessary to keep the Campus Community abreast of our
activities, progress, and priorities. 

We ask for your feedback on our bulletins so we can work to minimize
inconveniences and interruptions to campus routines.  We also ask that you
let us know how we have done on projects for you or for your department.

We will be happy to receive requests and trouble reports by e-mail,
however, work that will be charged to the requester will necessitate the
submitting of a Facilities Planning Work Request Form with budget
authorization.

All members of the UTC Family are our eyes and ears so we urge you to
report all problems concerning buildings or grounds even if you think they
have already been reported. 


            Facilities Planning Activities

The following is a listing of the projects and major activities over and
above trouble calls and routine services that are on the Facilities
Schedule for the week of 8/16/99

· Installation of spotlights at the walking track continue.
· Relocation of the UTC Information Booth from Lot 8(at Maclellan Gym) to
Lot 1 (beside Fletcher Hall) will continue.
· Repairs to the wall at Vine and Lansing will continue.
· Painting will conclude in Davenport Hall
· Painting will continue in the hallways of Metro Building
· The contract replacement of cracked windows in Davenport Hall, and
Challenger Center has been awarded and will begin when glass arrives.
· Drainage work in the Library Parking Garage will begin.
· Installation of planters on Vine St. will begin.
· Refinishing of the Guerry Center Flagroom floor will continue.
