Dr. Harrell and Colleagues,

It is good news that we are able to test our MOCS EXPRESS this week. MOCS
EXPRESS is our strategic initiative to improve our data handling, improve
service to faculty, students, and staff -- and beat the gremlins of
possible Y2K miseries.

I am grateful for the extra effort each campus unit has invested in getting
us ready for the improvements MOCS EXPRESS will bring. Any change is
disruptive, but when the change actually works to the better, we usually
judge the change worth doing. Thanks to you who will test our assumptions
and our planned conversion to new ways of handling data and serving the
needs of the campus.
You are about to remind us again that MOCS EXPRESS really is worth doing!

Bill Stacy
