UTC is implementing a new online course delivery system in the fall called
Blackboard. On Tuesday, April 17, 12:30 - 1:30 pm, Ocoee Room, there will
be a demonstration of the Blackboard system with discussion about the
differences (and similarities) of it with Web Course in a Box. I will also
be giving you instructions on how to export a course from WCB for importing
into Blackboard. This demonstration will be repeated on April 18, 12:00 -
1:00 pm (also in the Ocoee Room). Bring your lunch if you want. No
pre-registration is necessary.
In addition to the overview sessions, there are also two hands on sessions
planned. For these, you MUST pre-register. They are scheduled for April
20, 2:00 - 5:00 pm and May 2, 1:00 - 4:00 pm in 321 Lupton Library. Please
e-mail me if you'd like to reserve a spot. Seating is limited because of
the hands on feature of the seminar.
Please e-mail me if you are interested in setting up a small group
demonstration or hands on of the system or if you'd be interested in
attending a hands on seminar over the summer. Thanks.
