UTC Community,

As some of you already know, Steve Lewinter had been undergoing  
treatment for Lymphoma throughout the Fall semester. Steve was  
anticipating a full recovery and a return to teaching in the Art  
Department in the Fall following a bone-marrow procedure at the MD  
Anderson Cancer Center in Houston Texas. Steve died yesterday  
afternoon/early evening following complications related to the  
procedure. I have very few details, but will forward additional  
information as appropriate.

Steve is survived by his wife and two children. Please keep them in  
your hearts.
