BOY, can I attest to that. We live in the woods, and mice are always getting in our garage, and then into the walls (amazing how small a crevice they need!), then they can't figure out how to get out (consider the size of their brain), they die, they stink to high heaven for about two weeks (give or take). Before they die, the scratching inside the walls drives our cats nuts (and us!) After they die, we just have to keep the incense lit and the windows open when weather permits. Sometimes our cats will bring them in to the garage still alive, but injured. They run, get in the walls, too weak to get back out.

The worst was actually a rat (yes a RAT) that the cats apparently chased in to the garage, it got under our "beer fridge", died and stunk to high heaven. The fan on the fridge was blowing the smell out into the garage, making it even worse. At least we were able to get to that one and get rid of it.
