A special forum has been scheduled to educate the campus on services
available and to encourage open dialogue and cooperation across the campus.
This important meeting will be held Tuesday, November 8 at 5 p.m. in the
University Center auditorium. Chancellor Roger Brown will open the forum.
Forum participants will include Sara Peters of the Transformation Project;
Dr. Helen Eigenberg, professor and head of criminal justice at UTC; Dr.
Nancy Badger, director of the UTC Counseling and Career Planning Center;
Valara Sample, UTC Housing; UTC Campus Police Chief Mac McNeely; and Janet
Cavett with the Hamilton County Sexual Assault Crisis Center.

The <http://www.utc.edu/news//Outreach/TransformationProject/>UTC
Transformation Project is made possible by a federal Department of Justice
grant. It provides leadership working with campus and community partners
to reduce violence against women, including relationship violence, sexual
assault, stalking, and sexual harassment. Services are provided to UTC
students, faculty, and staff. Educational programs are available for
classes and/or group presentation. Direct services including crisis
intervention, advocacy, and referral to other campus and community services
also are available. For more information, contact Ms. Peters at x5605.
