Message from Emerson Fly, Executive Vice President
---
Effective June 6th, record keeping for the statešs Deferred Compensation
Program will be provided by Great-West Life/Benefits Corp. instead of
Security First Group (SFG). MetLife, the owner of Security First Group, has
made a business decision to stop providing third party record keeping
services.
If you plan to make any changes to your account, be sure to check the
transition schedule at http://www.treasury.state.tn.us/dc/index.htm for
information and instructions. All fees will remain the same, as will the
investment products.
There will be a black-out period from May 25 to June 6 when no transactions
will be allowed to take place and accounts will not be available through the
internet or the telephone system.
The Office of Benefits and Retirement Services will continue to provide
information on the transition as it becomes available. If you have
questions, please contact your campus deferred income office, or Sherry Sims
([log in to unmask]) or Michelle Whited ([log in to unmask]) at (865) 974-4341.
