Good Morning All,

The GPA requirements sent last week apply to all students who enrolled as
full time students in college before this fall.  The standards have been
raised for all students who enrolled as freshman.  As always if there are

Grade-Point Average Requirement
NCAA Bylaw 14.4.3.3.1
All student-athletes enrolled in college, as full time students after
8/1/03 must have a Grade Point Average that equals at least 90% of the UTC
minimum grade-point average required for graduation by the start of his/
her second year in college.  A student-athlete who is entering his or her
third year of collegiate enrollment shall present a cumulative minimum GPA
that equals at least 95% of the minimum grade-point average required for
graduation.  A student-athlete who is entering his or her fourth or
subsequent year of shall present a cumulative minimum GPA that equals at
least 100% of the minimum grade-point average required for graduation.
