Thanks to every one of you who attended today's faculty meeting for the
collegial atmosphere which prevailed during the meeting.  UTC faculty
demonstrated once again their commitment to respect and cordiality even
when grappling with tough issues that inevitably evoke serious
diagreements.  Regardless of our position on the Implementation Plan, we
can all feel good about the atmosphere in which the decision was made.  As
the presiding officer, I am especially grateful for that.  (And to the
several of you who made the good-natured suggestion--I will have a
microphone for our next meeting!)
