The Computer Science Department will be hosting Dr. Juan Vargas from
Microsoft Corporation TODAY, Wednesday, September 8th, at 12 noon in the
Benwood Auditorium of the Engineering, Math and Computer Science building.
He will be giving a presentation, open to the campus community:

"Exploring Collaborative Opportunities with Microsoft"

Abstract

In this talk I will introduce myself and talk about the opportunities for
collaboration with Microsoft, in particular the recent requests for
proposals made by Microsoft during the recent academic summit. I will
describe the .NET initiative, the Visual Studio, and the new express tools
for students learning programming languages. I will also talk about the
Presenter tools for Faculty.
