Applications for nominations for SGA Outstanding Professor and Adjunct
Professor can be picked up in Student Development, Room 399.  Deadline
for nominations is Tuesday, April 11, 2006, 5pm.  Outstanding professors
will be named on April 18, 2006 at 7:30 p.m. at the SGA Student
Leadership Awards Banquet in the Chattanooga Room in the University
Center. There are two major criteria for selection. These criteria shall
be accorded equal weight in the selection process: 1) Exemplary teaching
skills, and 2) Exceptional concern for students.  Two full-time faculty
members or one faculty member and adjunct professor may be selected.
The full-time faculty members will each receive a monetary award of $400
in addition to the plaque and the adjunct faculty member will receive a
$200 award.  Portraits of the honored recipients will be displayed in
the University Center.
