As you may know, Dr. Tim Summerlin, Dean of the College of Arts and
Sciences, has accepted a job as Provost and Vice President for Academic
Affairs at Schreiner College in Kerrville, Texas and will be leaving on
July 9.  We regret that we are losing him but are pleased for him and his
family.  We wish them well in what will be for them a homecoming to Texas,
as well as a new professional opportunity.

A reception will be held to honor Dr. Summerlin on Tuesday, July 6 from
3:00 - 5:00 at the Faculty Club.  Everyone is encouraged to attend.  Please
