Student Portfolios: An Overview

What are student portfolios? How can I use them in my classroom? How
can students build on student portfolios for use in their future
careers? These questions and more will be discussed in this Faculty
Fellows seminar.

Using Online Course Delivery Tools to Manage Student Research Projects
Wednesday April 16, 2:30 - 3:30 pm

Through further development and refinement of the requirements for
Education 590 Culminating Experience, required for the M.Ed. teacher
licensure students, the course has been transferred to Blackboard as
the primary medium of communication. With an awareness of the wealth
of information available through online and print sources, strategies
for developing a better sense of information literacy within the
education discipline and the proposed research area will be presented
for student use as action research projects are written, refined,
and/or implemented during the student
teaching experience.
