As you all surely must know by now, Michael Moore's scathing (and factual--see this link: http://www.mediainfo.com/eandp/news/article_display.jsp?vnu_content_id=1000536074 ) look at the Bush Administration, FAHRENHEIT 9/11, is scheduled to open nationwide this Friday. BUT NOT IN CHATTANOOGA.

A) IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS FILM and feel that Carmike and Regal are trying to decide what is fit for your eyes, then I suggest you call Carmike's Chattanooga office at 265-5220 during regular business hours and ask them why they think they know what's best for us. I'm sure they'll tell you to call their regional office or something--I suggest you call them, too. Then I suggest you call the Regal Cinemas office at 899-5522. Make some phone calls--don't let apathy get the better of you. Let's show them how much money they'd be losing by refusing to screen this film here. And just in case you're wondering, YES, there is still the possibility that they will show the film on opening night in step with the more reasonable parts of the country... If we show them it's worth their while.

B) IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THIS FILM, then ignore me, and don't go see it.

Thank you,

-->jarrod whaley.
