The Tennessee River Gorge Trust Needs Your Help! Please pass this along to
anyone you know that may be interested in giving a helping hand! Get
some exercise, fresh air & help a local non-profit by Volunteering! Plus,
receive a free Northern Red Salamander T-shirt for your time & effort.
(Adult Medium, Large & XL only). When: Thursday, April 28, 2005.
Time: 10:00 a.m. to whenever Where: Pot Point Cabin/Loop Trail
There is still much to do to prepare for the Grand Opening of the Self
Guided Nature Trail set for May 7, 2005 (call 267-FISH to reserve your spot
for that event). Bring your work gloves & lots of strength! Thanks to
all the Volunteers last Thursday & this Tuesday, the “point of interest”
markers are installed and the kiosk is built. Now we need to re-blaze the
3.5 - mile loop trail & remove some fallen trees along the way. Plus,
there is always much to do in and around the Pot Point Cabin. If you
arrive after 10:00 a.m. and do not see anyone - just begin to head out on
the trail & you will find us all! We hope to see you there! Please call if
you have any questions. Julie F. Beach Business & Development Manager
