The City Traffic Engineer¹s office announced today the following:


… Riverside Drive/Riverfront Parkway from Mabel Street to River Street,
Chestnut Street from Riverfront Parkway to 2nd Street, 2nd Street from
Chestnut Street to Power Alley, and Power Alley from 2nd Street to 3rd
Street, will be closed until Thursday, June 19, 2003, at 12:00 p.m.  Broad
Street from 2nd Street to 3rd Street, and Chestnut Street from 2nd Street to
3rd Street, will be closed each evening from 5:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m.
through Saturday, June 14, 2003 for the 2003 Riverbend Festival.
… Lookout Street will be closed between Riverside Drive and 3rd Street
except for the hours between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and the ramp from
southbound Veteran¹s Bridge will be open to cross Riverside Drive to
southbound Lookout Street from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on weekdays until
Thursday, June 19, 2003.
… The Market Street Bridge and Market Street will be closed from Frazier
Avenue to 3rd Street from 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, until 2:00 a.m. on
Sunday, June 15, 2003 for the Riverbend Fireworks display setup.  Access to
businesses and residences on Market Street between 3rd Street and 1st Street
will be allowed.
… The entrance ramp from 4th Street to northbound Highway 27 and the exit
ramp from northbound Hwy 27 to Manufacturer¹s Road will be closed from 7:30
p.m. until 12:00 midnight on Saturday, June 14, 2003.  Pedestrians WILL NOT
BE ALLOWED to stand on the Olgiati Bridge.
