UTC Family:
The Undergraduate Admissions Office has scheduled a "Mentor's Day" for
local minority students on Friday, October 19. Our goal is to enhance these
student's awareness of college life through a visitation day at UTC. Each
high school student will be paired with a UTC student to experience a
typical day in the life of a college student.
We would ask that you welcome these students into your classrooms,
organizational meetings, work study sites, as well as residence halls and
allow them to participate in any other activities. We would also encourage
your personal interaction with these student's during their visit. A
positive experience for these high school students will be very beneficial
for the UTC community.
Thanks in advance for your cooperation...Everyone plays a key role in the
recruitment and retention of students!
