The UTC Opera Theatre will present Mozart's "Bastien and Bastienne" on
Friday and Saturday March 1 & 2 at 7:30 PM both nights. This is a charming
one act opera called a "Pastorale" written by Mozart when he was 12 years
old. The music is easy to listen to and playful. The Opera Theatre will
be accompanied by a 9 piece string ensemble from the UTC Symphony Orchestra
under the direction of Dr. Steven Bird.
The storyline is typical for opera - boy and girl love each other; loose
each other; find each other with the help of the friendly village fortune
teller.
Tickets are $5 on sale at the FAC Box office - general admission.
Please join us for this delightful presentation.
