limits in chemistry classes

I know that various places on campus helped students enroll yesterday,
but in at least three instances students were placed into general
chemistry classes in which they exceeded the limits.  Two of these were
in labs, one in lecture.  Do not add people to filled classes!  All of
our General Chemistry lectures and labs will have limits set to zero
over the weekend so students must come to the department to add these
classes.  This is to be sure that they know our lab policy on absences
before they add late, so please do not enter any students next week.
