Columbia University's National Campaign for Quality Teaching about Asia has
selected UTC as a demonstration site and has chosen Dr. Lucien Ellington
as the coordinator and seminar director.  The purpose of the campaign is to
improve secondary teachers' understanding about East Asia through exposing
them to seminars.  Twenty-five local public and private school teachers
will benefit from participating in this seminar.  UTC was selected as one
of only twenty demonstration sites throughout the U.S.
