The program featuring writer and theologian Dr. Frederick Buechner
and Dr. Clif Cleaveland, originally scheduled in January but postponed
because of bad weather, has been rescheduled for Sunday, April 18th
at 5:30 p.m.
in the Ward Theatre. This program in the Ward Theatre is free.
Dr. Buechner is the author of more than 30 works of fiction and
nonfiction including
"The Sacred Journey," "Whistling in the Dark,""Godric," and "Brendan".
Prior to the program in the Ward Theatre, the Connor Society and
UTC will hold a reception
welcoming Dr. Buechner to our campus. The reception at the Faculty
Club will last
from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the reception is $25.
Individuals who would like to attend
should mail checks made out to the Connor Society of the UC Foundation to
the Connor Society, 732 Cherry Street, Chattanooga, TN 37402.
