I usually don't do this kind of posting, but I wanted to clue some of you in to the awesome experience that is CafeMiAroma just on the other side of campus. A student told me about it and I tried it out today.  

The cafe serves a wide array of coffeehouse favorites along with an extended food menu that includes a variety of deli sandwiches (think wraps, croissants, hoagies) as well as fresh salads, Freschetta pizzas, soups and even nachos. In addition, they serve desserts, smoothies and an impressive breakfast selection. 

The atmosphere is pleasant (light jazz music, great for reading/grading/chatting) and I hear they host some great live music on certain evenings. The staff is super friendly and they offer a 10% discount to faculty/staff if you ask for it. 

The Cafe is located across the street from Hunter Hall (right beside the church). Its about a 5 minute walk from central campus. You can check out their menu at www.cafemiaroma.com
